Working with us

Once we and the owners of the technology have agreed to our standard terms of collaboration, we provide the business with finance to undertake certain experiments to validate the technology risk and sustain the overheads while we recruit management for the business.

We prefer European based technologies, generally leaving the R&D activities where they are and locating the commercial headquarters in London.

In consultation with our inventor partners, we always recruit new management.  The CEOs we appoint will usually have the following characteristics:
  • A successful record of building several businesses with revenues of over £100 million and/or with a market value of over £250 million, and the drive to “do it again”

  • A passion for leadership that instills a culture in the enterprise which reflects competency, integrity, and ambition

  • A deep belief in their ability to build the business over six years that can be sold in a trade sale to an identified buyer for at least £250 million

With management in place, we assist in organizing sufficient capital to meet a major value enhancing milestone, such as regulatory approval, with a significant cash reserve.

We then support the company and its management in achieving the milestones necessary to be able to float the company on a stock exchange (if that is desirable) within three years, and then to meet the milestones necessary to sell the business to a trade buyer in a further three or four years.
